Checking your final answer
Multiple-choice and supported mathematical answers are checked against the question’s requirements. Pay attention to units, rounding and the requested form.

“Write 0.5 as a fraction in simplest form.”
1/2 follows the instruction. Equal value alone is not always enough when a question asks for a particular form.
Marking a written response
On supported questions, AI-assisted marking assesses your response against marking criteria. Results can include marks and feedback for individual criteria.
Illustrative result: 2 / 3 marks
A response can meet some criteria and miss another. Partial credit depends on the question; it is not available for every answer type.
Getting advice on your working
Where available, feedback on your steps helps you understand an error. Advisory working feedback and a tutor conversation do not themselves change your recorded answer mark.
