Start with the point where you got stuck
Open the tutor from your learning workspace when it is available. Refer to the lesson or question you are working on and explain what you have tried. A focused question makes it easier to get useful help.
For example: “I used the area formula, but I do not know which length is the height. Can you give me a hint?” You can also ask for a simpler explanation or another way to think about the concept.
Use hints to keep doing the thinking
The tutor is designed to guide your thinking with explanations and prompts. You can ask for one hint at a time, explain your reasoning back, and then attempt the next step yourself.
Keep your question connected to the current task. If the tutor has misunderstood the exercise, correct the context before following its advice.

Tutor help does not replace submitting an answer
Discussing an answer with the tutor does not submit it for marking. Use the question’s answer controls to receive a recorded result.
